Diagnostic Hearing Test

We provide a comprehensive hearing test for all ages above 9 months. This test can determine the nature and degree of hearing difficulty and provide a step forward in the management process where indicated.

What to expect at this appointment:

During this session your audiologist will ask you questions relating to your concerns and ear health history, look inside your ears (otoscopic examination), take a middle ear function test (tympanometry), complete a hearing test (pure tone audiometry) and speech testing depending on age. This is followed by a discussion of the results, interpretation and management options where indicated.
